**Kun Marathon Hue 2024 opens early registration on March 29 through a mini-game. After five days, the organizers received thousands of entries and selected 1,000 valid entries to award early tickets to the children. By April 10, the official registration opened and reached the quota in less than two days. A total of 2,000 children registered through two registration periods will participate in the Kun Marathon, taking place on April 20 in the Đại Nội area.**

This is the fourth year that the Kun Marathon has come to the ancient capital. From nearly 1,000 children participating in the first season, the scale of the competition has grown to over 2,000 athletes aged 6 to 10 in the last two seasons. Most of the children come from districts, towns, and cities in Hue. Additionally, there are children of runners from other localities participating in the VnExpress Marathon.

Ngoc Ha, who has registered her children for the Kun Marathon for the fourth year, shared that every April, her family eagerly prepares for this special event. "With each Kun Marathon season, my children become bolder and more mature. Thanks to the race, they have become more aware of the importance of exercising, leading to better health and improved academic performance," said Ha.

Like previous years, the children will conquer a nearly 1km long race. The organizers have set up familiar physical activity obstacles such as ball pits and bouncy houses along the course to ensure the children have fun while competing. "We want to create a truly meaningful festival for the kids. This is not just a race, but an activity to connect family members, helping parents and children create memorable moments together," said a representative of the organizers.

This year, artists Truong Giang, Ngan Chi, Bao An, TikToker Hoang Hon, Khai Ca Khia, and the football juggling team Van Anh - Viet Anh will accompany the children on the race.

The organizers will distribute race kits on April 19 at Ngo Mon Square. The children will receive age-appropriate race shirts and caps. Upon completing the race, runners will receive medals. Outstanding young athletes will receive additional prizes from the organizers.

Kun Marathon is a side event of the VnExpress Marathon, organized by VnExpress in collaboration with the LofKun brand under International Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (IDP). After Ho Chi Minh City and Hue, the event will continue in other locations such as Quy Nhon, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ha Long, Hanoi, and Hai Phong.
